The event

The Fête des Vendanges marks the harvest of the Clos Montmartre, the small vineyard on the north slope of the Butte, with five days of concerts, shows, meetings, street animations and discoveries across the 18th arrondissement. The 2026 edition, the 93rd, runs from Wednesday 7 to Sunday 11 October under the theme Le 18e donne le rythme, the district setting the beat.

The festival committee publishes the programme with the City of Paris and the Mairie du 18e; the printed and online programme is the place to check venues and times.

The Butte during the festival

Montmartre is crowded on any autumn weekend; during the festival the streets around Sacré-Cœur, the Place du Tertre and the vineyard are closed to traffic on the busiest days and the funicular queues stretch. The weekday afternoons keep the village feel; the Saturday is the big day.

The metro to Abbesses or Anvers is the way in. A hotel in Montmartre puts the evening concerts on foot; a base in the centre needs a late metro back.

Good to know

  • Confirm the daily programme and any ticketed evenings on the festival's site in the days before.
  • October evenings on the Butte are cool; the concerts are outdoors.
  • Montmartre rooms book out for the festival weekend; the centre and the metro lines to Anvers are the alternative.
