Privacy policy

Paris Guide is a reading-only travel guide. We keep first-party collection minimal. On a bounded set of eligible pages, the temporary Stay22 LMA experiment connects when the page opens, before any optional privacy choice. Analytics and other optional third-party tools remain disabled until allowed. Third-party transmission is described below. Last revised July 6, 2026.

What this policy covers

This policy explains how the Paris Guide website (parisguide.app) handles information when you read it. The site is published by El Premier (https://elpremier.com/) and has no user accounts, logins, or checkout.

What we collect

Aggregate, privacy-respecting analytics — page views and link clicks that tell us which guides help. Analytics do not build advertising profiles; optional partner processing is described separately.
Anything you choose to send us — if you email us, we keep your message and address only to reply. The site itself has no sign-ups, comments, or checkout.
A small preference may be stored in your browser (such as your last view) so the site behaves consistently between visits.

Affiliate links and third parties

Some pages carry clearly-labelled partner links. If you click one, you leave Paris Guide for that company's own site, which sets its own cookies under its own privacy policy. We may receive an anonymous referral credit if you book, but we do not receive your personal booking details. See the affiliate disclosure for more.

How we use information

We use aggregate analytics only to understand which content is useful and to improve coverage. We do not sell, rent, or share personal data, and we do not build advertising profiles.

Legal basis

We process limited operational data for legitimate interests in running, securing, measuring, and improving the site. If you email us, we process your message and contact details to respond to the request and keep an appropriate editorial or legal record. Where consent is required for an optional service, we rely on that consent.

Processors and transfers

We may use hosting, analytics, email, security, and internal publisher tools needed to operate the public site. Those providers process data under their own service terms and data-protection arrangements. If data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, we rely on the safeguards made available by the relevant provider and applicable law.

Your rights

If you are in the EU or UK, you have the right to access, correct, or erase any personal data we hold and to object to its processing. Because the site builds no personal profiles, there is usually nothing to retrieve — but you can always email us with a request: infoelpremier.com.

For privacy matters, you may contact the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (HDPA, dpa.gr), the supervisory authority in Greece. If you are in the EU/EEA, you may also lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority of your habitual residence, place of work, or place of the alleged infringement.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves. Any material change will be reflected on this page.

Stay22 automatic lodging service

On three explicitly selected lodging-guide pages, parisguide.app temporarily loads Stay22 LMA as soon as the page opens, before any optional choice. Stay22 may process standard network, device, page, referral, booking-attribution, and browser-storage information under its own privacy notice.

Choosing “Essential only” keeps analytics and other optional third-party tools off, but does not disable LMA during this experiment. LMA remains excluded from legal pages, noindex pages, and pages containing a Stay22 Map, an affiliate handoff, or another protected provider. Read Stay22’s privacy notice.
