Paris Guide is a reading-only travel guide. We keep data collection minimal and never sell your information. Optional partner services are described below and stay inactive until the permitted trigger. Last revised July 6, 2026.

What this policy covers

This policy explains how the Paris Guide website (parisguide.app) handles information when you read it. The site is published by El Premier (https://elpremier.com/) and has no user accounts, logins, or checkout.

What we collect

  • Limited first-party analytics events — page paths and types, interaction labels, outbound destinations, normalized campaign fields, referring hostname, coarse country/data-center context, and browser/user-agent context needed for bot classification and operational reporting. Events from one document may be grouped with a random page-scoped identifier that is generated for that page and is never reused across pages or domains.
  • Anything you choose to send us — if you email us, we keep your message and address only to reply. The site itself has no sign-ups, comments, or checkout.
  • A small preference may be stored in your browser (such as your last view) so the site behaves consistently between visits.

First-party analytics boundaries and retention

The publisher-operated analytics service does not store IP addresses, IP hashes, full landing URLs, full referrer URLs, cookies, or persistent or cross-domain visitor identifiers. The page-scoped grouping identifier is not written to cookies or browser storage and cannot follow you to another page or domain. Query strings are removed from stored page locations; referrers are reduced to a hostname. Cloudflare may process request information at the network edge for delivery, security, and rate limiting, but the analytics database keeps only the limited event context described above.

Raw first-party analytics events are retained for up to 90 days and then deleted by an automated retention job. Anonymous aggregate reporting may be kept longer. Known crawler and synthetic traffic is tagged and excluded from business reporting by default rather than silently mixed into visitor funnels.

Affiliate links and third parties

Some pages carry clearly-labelled partner links. If you click one, you leave Paris Guide for that company's own site, which sets its own cookies under its own privacy policy. We may receive an anonymous referral credit if you book, but we do not receive your personal booking details. See the affiliate disclosure for more.

How we use information

We use aggregate analytics only to understand which content is useful and to improve coverage. We do not sell, rent, or share personal data, and we do not build advertising profiles.

Legal basis

We process limited operational data for legitimate interests in running, securing, measuring, and improving the site. If you email us, we process your message and contact details to respond to the request and keep an appropriate editorial or legal record. Where consent is required for an optional service, we rely on that consent.

Processors and transfers

We may use hosting, analytics, email, security, and internal publisher tools needed to operate the public site. Those providers process data under their own service terms and data-protection arrangements. If data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, we rely on the safeguards made available by the relevant provider and applicable law.

Your rights

If you are in the EU or UK, you have the right to access, correct, or erase any personal data we hold and to object to its processing. Because the site builds no personal profiles, there is usually nothing to retrieve — but you can always email us with a request: infoelpremier.com.

For privacy matters, you may contact the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (HDPA, dpa.gr), the supervisory authority in Greece. If you are in the EU/EEA, you may also lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority of your habitual residence, place of work, or place of the alleged infringement.
